Financial Help
Caring for our pets can be a tremendous financial burden, especially when they experience major illnesses and chronic conditions. Here are some financial resources to help relieve some of that burden when it becomes more than your bank account can bear.
Rescues
Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital supports our local rescue organizations. Animal shelters in our local community are perpetually stretching their resources in their efforts to accommodate an overwhelming population of homeless and at-risk animals. There are many ways that we can help replenish their resources and support their efforts including adopting, fostering, donating and volunteering. We recognize the following local organizations for their tireless efforts to care for our furry friends.
- Asheville Humane Society
- Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue
- Blue Ridge Humane Society
- Animal Haven of Asheville
- Carolina Border Collie Rescue
- PetFinder (search for adoptable dogs or cats in the Asheville area)
Emergency Veterinary Hospitals
Specialists

- Western Carolina Veterinary Surgery (Dr. Crouch)
- SAVES (previously Upstate Vet – Asheville)
